Top Class Festivals:

The town hosts a number of festivals every year: -

Saint Patrick's Week which is a 7-day celebration of Irish tradition and culture. The Quaker City String Band from Philadelphia, the Manchester Pipe Band and Bavarian Flag Throwers are now a regular feature of the St. Patrick's Day parade. 

The Coillte Come Home Festival is a new addition in July of each year, A festival of Music and Fun, it coincides with the Race2Glory adventure race.

Nationally West Holidays is the tourism development and marketing company with IRD Kiltimagh. Naturally West Holidays prides itself in the high standard of value-for-money inclusive holidays, available to the discerning tourist. The company provides a high level of administration support to the Kiltimagh Tourism Association and Festivals Committee to enable them to run these events each year.

Kiltimagh is also the place for an activity holiday. We have:

• Walking on our developed and mapped walking routes as well as on our newly completed mini-greenway.
• Cycling on the many roads and routes about the town,
• Coarse and game angling,
• Golfing on one of the many nearby courses.
